Minister of Housing: Implementing the first lake in the Downtown area of New Alamein

Dr. Assem Al-Gazzar, Minister of Housing, Utilities and Urban Communities, witnessed the signing of a contract for the design and implementation of the El Alamein “Crystal Lagoon” in the Downtown area, in New Alamein City, between the New Urban Communities Authority and the Chinese “CSCEC” company, and it was signed by Engineer Amin Ghoneim, Vice President The New Urban Communities Authority for the Real Estate and Commercial Affairs Sector, and Mr. Wang Zi, General Manager of “CSCEC” Company in Egypt.

The Minister of Housing explained that Lake El Alamein is in the middle of the Downtown Towers, which is being implemented in New El Alamein City. The lake includes 7 islands and is surrounded by a tourist promenade, and will be comparable to similar projects in the world. He explained that the implementation of this project will raise the value of the surrounding lands and will work to attract more people. Of investments, thus providing more job opportunities.

The Minister pointed out that the Downtown Towers project, implemented by the Chinese company "CSCEC", is similar to the towers in the Central Business District in the New Administrative Capital, and with self-financing from the New Urban Communities Authority, and includes 5 fully finished residential towers and services, which are the iconic tower with a height of 250 meters ( 68 floors) with a total surface area of ​​465 thousand square metres, and 4 towers with a height of 200 meters, each tower (56 floors) with a total surface area of ​​320 thousand square metres.

On the sidelines of the signing, the Minister of Housing discussed, with officials of the Chinese “CSCEC” company, the implementation position of the Central Business District project, in the New Administrative Capital, and the Downtown Towers project, in New Alamein City, stressing the importance of these two projects, and the necessity of accelerating their implementation rates, and with the highest quality, As they represent a new style of urbanization in Egypt, within the framework of the urban renaissance witnessed by the Egyptian state during the era of President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi.

Officials of the Chinese company "CSCEC" affirmed their commitment to implementing the two projects of the Central Business District, in the New Administrative Capital, and the Downtown Towers, in New Alamein City, with the highest quality and in the fastest possible time, explaining that the Central Business District project will be an architectural masterpiece in the Middle East and the continent.
