200 billion pounds, the volume of investments in the new Garden City project in the Administrative Capital

City Edge Real Estate Development Company announced the latest developments in the construction operations of the New Garden City project, the company’s latest project in the New Administrative Capital.
The new Garden City is located in the first phase of the New Administrative Capital
in a distinguished strategic location between the Central Ring Road and the
Regional Ring Road of the southern Bin Zayed Axis, and occupies an area of
885 acres.
The project's total investments reach 200 billion pounds, and it includes 9 phases
that will be sold over 5 years until 2029.
The overall implementation rates for the project so far have reached 100% for
concrete structures and 60% for finishes. The completion rate of networks and
facilities reached 63.6%, roads reached 94%, and earthworks, landscaping and
road furnishings reached 27.4%.
The first phase of the project is expected to be delivered next August. The project
includes 278 residential buildings with a total of 21,471 units, 107 mixed
residential buildings with a total of 633 commercial units, 107 villas, and 134
townhouses and twin houses with a total of 459 units. The number of units in
the entire project reaches 22,563 units.
The project is distinguished by its proximity to the main landmarks of the New
Administrative Capital, which are the Central Business District, the Green
River and the iconic tower. The new Garden City includes a group of residential
and mixed-use buildings on the main street, while the ground floor is allocated
to shops below the residential component with two basement floors for each
group. The project includes various luxury residential units, including
palaces, townhouses, villas, town villas, and standalone villas.
Commenting on the latest developments in the new Garden City, Mohamed Al-Dahan, CEO of
City Edge Real Estate Development, says: “The first phase of the new Garden
City project (Garden City Heights) has received great demand from customers to
purchase residential units.”
The project is distinguished by its strategic location, as it is located between
the Middle Ring Road and the Regional Ring Road of the southern Bin Zayed axis,
next to the (R6) and (R4) areas, and close to the main landmarks of the New
Administrative Capital and vital facilities such as hotels and sports clubs, in
addition to the International University of Hertfordshire. It is also located
close to the Central Business District, the Green River and the iconic tower.
